This group specializes in all aspects of transportation and infrastructure work, including projects that range from minor street rehabilitation to major interstate reconstruction. Our civil engineers also provide assistance in pre-development services to deal with site selection and acquisition as well as other development issues prior to construction on a specific site.
Employee Spotlight: Beth Norton
Beth became a part of Epstein in 2019, when she joined our Civil Engineering department as a Project Engineer. Her impressive background includes 12 years of related experience in the design and planning of major interstate projects, including the Illinois Department of Transportation I-55 Improvement Project and the Illinois state Toll Highway Authority Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Widening and Reconstruction from Willow Road to Dundee Road.
Beth is also skilled in Phase I engineering, environmental studies, public involvement, barrier warrant analyses, traffic studies, crash analysis, safety studies, plan preparation, quantity calculations, and technical report writing.

While at Epstein, Beth has been staying true to her roots and primarily working in the transportation sector, specifically focusing on our various Illinois Department of Transportation Phase I projects.
