The employees of Epstein founded the Epstein Community Foundation* (ECF) in 2008 as a charity devoted to empowering people to improve their lives through a commitment to developing partnerships with communities in need.

Over the ensuing years the ECF has been involved in numerous charitable partnerships/collaborations with organizations like Rebuilding Together, Open Books, and Chicago Public Schools, as well as a current alliance with Iniciativas de Paz, a Puerto Rico- based nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of life, education, and opportunity in developing countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Through this alliance with Iniciativas de Paz, the ECF is currently designing a much needed Community Center in Haiti that is aimed at serving the following needs:

Good Morning Haiti

A Nutritional Program based on the premise that “no child can learn on an empty stomach.” The program will provide meals for 75-150 local school children.

School of Peace

An alternative Education Center, which aims to offer therapy sessions to special needs children, as well as health and literacy classes for mothers and young girls.

If you would like to learn more about the ECF, donate, or get involved please contact Christine Paccione-Anderson at (312) 429-8006 or via e-mail at
