Yesterday, September 9, 2021, marked the completion of the ambitious $6 billion O’Hare Modernization Program, a new parallel runway system that expands capacity and increases safety at the airport.
Epstein was pleased to play a significant role in the program, serving as the lead engineer for two of the new runways, 9L-27R and 10R-28L, as well as provide engineering and design services for new taxiways, access roads and safety and security additions.
Congratulations to the City of Chicago, Chicago Department of Aviation, and all of the design and construction firms that helped deliver these much-needed infrastructure improvements to one of the world's busiest airports and a true economic engine for Chicago!
