Happy Veterans Day! We acknowledge and are grateful to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed so much to protect our country. Today and every day, we thank you for your service.

Epstein, as a design, engineering and construction firm, takes special pride in the work we have provided, and are currently providing, to support our veterans, including multiple infrastructure and facility improvement projects at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois: Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital Building 200 North Lobby Expansion; Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital Building 200 Façade; Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital Building 13 Renovation.

Additionally, the Epstein-designed and engineered Army and Air Force Exchange Service bakery recently started production at USAG Humphreys in the Republic of Korea. The 30,000-square-foot, four-line bakery produces bread, buns, Krispy Kreme-brand doughnuts and tortillas. The bakery supplies the Post Exchange on the base that provides for U.S. troops stationed in Korea. In addition to Epstein's architectural and engineering services for this project, our process engineers were responsible for designing the four bakery lines installed.

We also want to give additional thanks and acknowledgement to past and current Epstein employees who served, including our former chairman, Sidney Epstein, who was a World War II veteran as a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stationed in Lingayen, Philippines.
