Epstein Ranks Among ENR’s Top 400 Contractors

Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine released their annual Top 400 Contractors list, and we are very pleased to report that Epstein was ranked 378, our second consecutive time appearing on this prestigious list.

Over the past few years, Epstein has seen significant growth on the construction side of our business. This increase is due to the substantial role Epstein plays as a leading builder in the meat processing industry. Some of our recent projects in this space include the $335 million Seaboard Triumph Foods facility in Sioux City, Iowa and the 650,000-square-foot Prestage Foods of Iowa pork processing plant in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Currently, we are serving as the Design-Builder for WholeStone Farms in Fremont, Nebraska, helping them convert a Hormel SPAM plant into a pork production facility.

Additionally, this construction work is performed for projects that Epstein has also designed and engineered, making us one of the leading Design-Builders in not only meat processing facilities, but also in the overall food processing industry.

As a group, the firms who comprised ENR's list generated a new record of $405 billion in contracting revenue in 2018, which was a significant increase of 8.3 percent from the previous year.
