The Epstein Community Foundation recently teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities to participate in their Meals from the Heart program, which allows volunteers to come together to build a menu, purchase ingredients and prepare warm meals for families staying at one of their Houses who have children in a local hospital.

The ECF was pleased to prepare meals for families who have children at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Meals from the Heart aims to allow families to dine and unwind so they can be refreshed for their child, without the worry or time to prepare a meal for themselves.

A huge thank you to all who volunteered and for their hard work a group that included Allison Hoagland, Andraya Parrish, Jennifer Heiney, Ed Curley, Sheryl O’Reilly Stevens, Ryan Leodoro, Jeff McQuiston, Chad Ware, and Charles Nicewick.

The ECF was founded in 2008 and devotes time to empowering people to improve their lives through a commitment to developing partnerships with communities in need. Over the years, the ECF has been involved in numerous charitable partnerships and collaborations with organizations to construct safe environments and mentor communities. This is achieved through volunteering time, sharing expertise, and contributing financially to help build a brighter future.
