We are very pleased to make the always-enjoyable announcement about the professional advancements of some of Epstein's staff members with these mid-year promotions!

Patrick Alcock (MEP) – Project Engineer: Patrick is well-versed in the design of electrical systems, building power distribution, basic illumination and communications, linear circuit analysis, and design utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Gwen Cortez (Civil) – Senior Design Engineer: A former Epstein intern, Gwen joined our Civil Engineering department in 2018, where she has since advanced her knowledge in railroad design.

Simon Cygielski (Architecture) – Senior Project Architect: Simon joined Epstein in 2019, bringing with him more than 17 years of experience in architecture. Prior to joining Epstein, Simon worked as a senior architectural professional, contributing to a wide range of projects, both as a designer and a technical architect.

Shaina Ficht (Accounting) – Senior Project Accountant: Shaina is responsible for producing a wide variety of monthly project, utilization and expense reports and handles a number of corporate accounting tasks. She is also tasked with reviewing project profitability and managing Epstein’s use of Deltek’s Vision accounting software.

John Karlovitz (Civil) – Project Manager: John has developed specific expertise in project management, quality control, staff scheduling, cost control and contract preparation and has extensive experience working with a wide variety of federal, state and local agencies.

Debbie Sretenovic (DesignBuild) – Chief DesignBuild Technical Architect: Debbie’s portfolio includes industrial, commercial, educational, medical and residential building design. She is also well-versed in shop drawing review, vendor contact and selection of materials, field assignments, project coordination, construction administration, and the development/modification of drawings.

Declan Walsh (MEP) – Chief Mechanical Engineer: In addition to designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, Declan has also designed building electrical systems, which has helped provide a more coordinated MEP effort.
