Riverview Bridge named as a Finalist in the Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards

Epstein is proud to be announced that our design of Riverview Bridge has been named a FINALIST in the Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards presented in partnership with AIA Chicago and the Chicago Architecture Center, and we invite you to VOTE for our project!

Riverview Bridge is a 1,000-foot pedestrian and bicycle bridge that crosses the Chicago River just north of Addison street to California Park helping create a nearly contiguous 2-mile long recreational trail.

This project was chosen by Chicago Architecture Center’s docents in a round one jury review from over 125 projects submitted during AIA Chicago’s Design Excellence Awards.

The public will vote for one of the five finalist projects in each of the eight project categories:

Hospitality and Retail

Multifamily Residential

Single-Family Residential

Office

Tall Building

Bring out your picnic blanket and join our firm as the winners of the Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards are announced live on stage at DESIGNIGHT 2022, a free, public architecture awards celebration held on the evening of Monday, September 12, at 6:00pm at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park.

Joined by Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” and local Chicago band “Sam Thousand & the Soul Vortex,” this event will be a festive celebration of Chicago’s architecture. All are welcome to attend!
