The Mennica Legacy Tower won Best Commercial High-Rise Architecture Europe from the European Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards program!

Epstein served as the architect and engineer of record, as well as the MEP and structural design engineers, for Mennica, a two-building office development.

The new complex, located in the central business district of Warsaw, features two buildings with approximately 80,000 square meters of Class A office space, including a conference center, fitness center and ground-level retail, as well as four levels of underground parking and ancillary services.

Mennica's structural design features a collaboration between Epstein's Chicago and Warsaw offices. The tower structure is of cast in place concrete construction with a pile supported raft foundation under a central core that cantilevers up to 8.2m from its base footprint to deliver column free post-tensioned concrete flat slab interior spans. The 10-story building is also of cast in place concrete construction with a central core and post-tensioned concrete flat slab interior spans. The four below grade levels will include a perimeter slurry wall and will be built utilizing the "top down" construction method.

Established in 1994, the European Property Awards are frequently considered the world’s largest and most prestigious property competition.

Congratulations to the entire project team, including Golub GetHouse and Goettsch Partners!
