Epstein was recently selected by Chicago’s Department of Assets, Information & Services to provide full-service architectural and engineering design and construction administrative services for an assessment and planning project at Millennium Park.
Millennium Park has welcomed large crowds since its opening in 2004. The goal of this project is to keep this attraction a well-maintained centerpiece of Chicago for years to come. The project will consist of the full assessment of the existing park to understand the site’s current conditions. Considered one of the largest green roofs, constructed on top of a railroad yard and a large parking garage, there are many layers to this essential assessment. Once an assessment is complete, the team will then create a Capital Improvement Plan for the next ten years.
Epstein, and our team of expert sub-consultants, is thrilled for the opportunity to contribute again to another critical piece to Chicago’s public infrastructure.
