Epstein provided architectural, engineering and construction administration services for Spirit Airlines Concourse G and L Gate Swap within Terminal 3 at Chicago's OHare International Airport.

The scope of the project included adding an additional gate bridge and elevated fixed walkway as well as a relocated covered walkway and remodeled passenger seating areas at gates L5, L4, L9 and L11 within Concourse L. This new walkway includes aircraft servicing equipment, such as ground power and pre-conditioned air. The new gates also include finish improvements and millwork upgrades.

Inside Terminal 3, Epstein was responsible for delivering a new ticket counter for Spirit Airlines, Cape Air and Air Choice One. This supports passenger processing and baggage check-in by developing a baggage screening pod, relocating TSA equipment and adding new lobby located baggage handling system.

In addition, Epsteins architectural and engineering staff were tasked with remodeling a main terminal office, of approximately 1,000 square feet, to support the ticketing functions for Spirit and a 200-square-foot space used for the in-flight requirements for Spirit Airlines' crew.
