Epstein continues to further its relationship with Cavatina Holdings, Poland’s largest office space developer, after being selected to provide architecture and interior design, MEP and structural engineering, and overall project management for a 13-story, 140-unit, residential mixed-use building on 2nd & Clay in Seattle, Washington. This will be the second effort that Epstein and Cavatina have teamed up; the first being the Cavatina Concert Hall on Bainbridge Island in Washington State in 2021.

The residential units will be of modular construction and prefabricated in Polish factories which will be shipped to Seattle. This method reduces construction waste, increases the speed of erection and maintains a high level of quality for the apartment units. Residents will benefit from retail and service spaces, among other amenities. And underground parking garage will also be included.

Cavatina aims to reinforce the neighborhood’s walkable character by activating the ground level street front with retail and publicly accessible amenities. The building will be located minutes away from the Seattle Space Needle, Seattle Children’s Museum and the Climate Pledge Arena. Many of the units will have views of these iconic landmarks and the Pacific Ocean, just west of the property.

Seattle has experienced a growing population, leading to high demand for housing projects since 2017, after the housing bubble. In recent years, Seattle’s booming technology industry, with companies like Amazon and Microsoft headquartered in the area, contributed to a robust economy and attracted many young professionals to the region.
