Taking inspiration from its approximation to the Murray Baker Bridge, Epstein envisions an angular, metal panel-clad structure offering a world-class experience to both concert-goer and performer.
The design allows for a flexible use accommodating community events, classes and performances, while also being engineered to host Class A international touring acts. The metal panel “skin” of the structure, through QR code scanning technology, will allow visitors to learn more about the City’s history, see recent photos of events, and connect with performers before, during and after the shows. The outdoor seating area will have room for over 2,000 seats, and the lawn area will be able to fit more than 3,000 lawn guests.
