Welcome to Epstein … John Castro!

Our new baseball & jam band loving member of our construction group

We are pleased to welcome John Castro to Epstein - one of the newest members of our construction group.

John, who just graduated from Illinois State University (Go Redbirds!) where he majored in construction management, is our new assistant project engineer. He's currently working on-site for the $274M Seaboard Farms – Triumph Foods Pork Processing Plant in Sioux City, Iowa. (Stay warm – John!)

In his spare time, John enjoys going to see live music, primarily jam bands, and is a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. In fact, he's been to 30 DMB shows and plans to keep adding to that number this year.

John is also an avid bowler but, unfortunately, will be in Sioux City for Epstein's upcoming 'Kingpin meets The Big Lebowski' bowling event. He promises he'll make the next one.

Lastly, John's favorite sport is baseball and he's a big Cubs fan. John's picking the Cubs to take the NL Pennant this year, although he'd like to see the Cubs land one more 'stud starting pitcher.' As for the AL he feels a few teams are in the running, the defending world champs, The Royals, as well as the Rangers and even though it's almost sacrilegious for a Cubs fan to say, even the Sox have a chance. But his pick to win the AL is the 'young, but deep' Astros. So baseball fans – you heard it here first – Cubs vs. Astros in the World Series, which would be kinda fitting cause the Sox broke their World Series jinx against the Astros in '05, so why not the Cubs as well?

Once again – welcome to the Family – John! And Go Cubs Go! (This is the year, finally! Right?)
