We are pleased to welcome Sara Singh, our new Project Coordinator, to Epstein’s DesignBuild group! Previously, Sara has worked at a DesignBuild firm in Boston, coordinating high-end residential projects. Most recently, she worked at a renewable energy company in Chicago, working on electrical interconnection. In her new role at Epstein, Sara’s main responsibility will be to shepherd projects through to completion.

Sara has always had a passion for architecture; she believes the built environment is an essential ingredient that forms us, moves us and influences us as a society. Growing up around construction, eventually studying it and working in the AEC industry, she enjoys seeing how much goes into every project. Getting to now be on the side of making it happen, according to Sara, is amazing.

Sara started her academic career at Syracuse University. She eventually transferred to Boston Architectural College and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Design Studies. Her concentration was in Design History, Theory and Criticism; in other words, lots of researching and writing for homework.

Sara grew up in a city 15 minutes outside of Boston called Newton, MA and attended Newton South High School. Outside of work, she loves to plan and can really get engaged in organizing a birthday or dinner party, utilizing the ever-inspiring Pinterest accompanied by Excel. At the same time, Sara is very creative. She loves to dance, draw, paint and, most recently, cook and bake. Right now, she is enjoying experimenting and trying new recipes from the New York Times cooking app, making goodies she then gets to share with her friends when hosting dinner parties… that she plans. Full circle here! Impressively, Sara knows several languages. She is bilingual in English and Russian and has also been learning Hebrew, Spanish and Hindi.

Sara lives with her husband near the Chicago River, and loves to take walks along the riverfront together.

She says she is excited to join the team and we are equally as excited to have you here. Once again, welcome to Epstein, Sara!
