We are pleased to welcome Fayad Shahim, our new Design Professional, to Epsteins New York Architecture team! Since joining us, Fayad has primarily been involved with the façade modeling and detailing for the design of a logistics center in Red Hook Brooklyn. Prior to coming to Epstein, Fayad worked at COOKFOX Architects within their design and visualization team for two years.

Fayad was born in a very hyper-dense urban city (Abu Dhabi/Dubai), and regularly saw buildings and skyscrapers going up, which led him down the path to this industry. I love the various pieces that make up a successfully city, and I am glad I can give back a little by working in the city I love, he said.

He went to Parsons School of Design for his BFA in architectural studies. He also obtained his M.Arch 1 from Pratt Institute (go Connoneers!) in Brooklyn.

Fayad was raised in Queens, Forest Hills, which he pointed out is the home of the Ramones and Peter Parker from Spider Man fame. Outside of work, Fayad can usually be found skateboarding, creating digital animations and frequenting coffee shops. He is also a big fan of classical renaissance art and sculptures, especially Bernini, along with modern art.

Interesting fact: he is a tri-lingual person. Get to know Fayad by reaching out to find out which languages hes referring to!

Once again, welcome, Fayad, were delighted to have you with us!
