We are pleased to welcome Elizabeth (Beth) Norton, our newest Project Engineer, to Epsteins Civil Engineering Department! Beth will primarily be working in the transportation sector, specifically focusing on our various Illinois Department of Transportation Phase I projects.

Prior to joining Epstein, Beth worked at Parsons Transportation Group as a civil engineer for 13 years; her first job out of college. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (go Golden Eagles!), where she studied civil engineering. Fun fact: Beth comes from a Marquette Legacy Family. Her mom and four aunts and uncles graduated from Marquette, and she also has five cousins currently enrolled there, as well!

She grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and went to Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School. She says she has always loved Lake Michigan, which explains why she continues to move to cities that are close to it.

Beth really likes to bicycle outside of work. During the warmer months, you will likely see her walking in and out of the building with her helmet because she plans to bicycle commute from the north side of the city. She also participates in several bicycle camping trips every year. Beth, we have a few other bicycle aficionados here at Epstein; you are in great company!

She also enjoys cooking and, oddly enough, grocery shopping. Additionally, Beth loves to travel and will definitely be the person that never has any extra PTO.

On top of starting a new job, Beth is also in the midst of finishing up wedding preparations. The big day is on May 11, so the countdown is on!

Beth, we are delighted to have you join Epstein, and are here to help however we can! Even if its just cake taste testing, which we are extremely skilled in.
