We are thrilled to welcome Christine Greene, our new Electrical Design Engineer, back to Epstein! Christine interned with us both last summer and this past winter break. Having really enjoyed her experience at Epstein as an intern, she said she is unbelievably excited to come back to as a full-time employee.

She graduated two weeks ago from Kansas State University (congratulations and go Wildcats!) with a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in electrical design. During her time at school, Christine was heavily involved with their band program. She was a member of the piccolo section in both the marching band and basketball band (Cat Band) all four years. Additionally, Christine was a member of the band service sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. Outside of band, she joined both the ASHRAE and IES student chapters at K-State and attended several educational trips with both groups throughout her senior year.

She grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois and attended Downers Grove North High School, where she was a section leader of the piccolos for the schools band her senior year.

By growing up near the city, Christines family took countless trips into Chicago when she was little. She has always had a knack for math and science, and fell in love with the idea of working on building design in her future career. Luckily, she found architecture engineering programs that made that path extremely accessible for her to follow. She added, I dont think I could have ever found a career that is more perfect for me than this.

Outside of work, Christine really enjoys bowling, despite claiming she is certainly no professional. She loves board games and puzzles as well. She just moved into an apartment in the city and is eager to take advantage of all the experiences Chicago has to offer, including concerts at Millennium Park, craft fairs and boat rides on the river. In the future, she is hoping to spend a good portion of her vacation time traveling aboard with her sister. They are planning a trip to Mexico in the winter, but discussing other trip locations to places such a France, Italy and Canada. All solid choices.

Fun fact: Her full name is Christine (pronounced like Christine), but she typically goes by Tine (spelled with an e but pronounced like Tina) because of her Norwegian background.

Duly noted.

Once again, welcome to Epstein! Were just as excited to have you join us.
