Here are some photos taken this past Saturday, March 5th, showing the progress of one of the largest projects we've ever undertaken as a Design-Builder the Seaboard Triumph Foods Pork Processing Plant in Sioux City, Iowa. This 245-acre, $264M, 750,000 square foot facility is scheduled to be completed in mid-2017.

What you see here are few aerials of the site showing progress on the Butina Stunning Pit excavation and the pouring of the foundation pads in the main plant area. In addition, there's a ground level detail shot showing steel going up on the perimeter of the cut floor. Our construction crew will be busy erecting steel for quite a while but we should start to see pre-cast columns for the cut floors to emerge fairly soon.

The on-site Epsteiners responsible for this massive undertaking include Gary Lammers and John Castro. Gary and John are being supported by our construction staff in our Chicago office who include Nick Hawkins, Anna Zhang, Matt Trizna, Mark Gesior and Jeremy Wright.

Way to go team!
