Epstein is currently working with the Friends of Big Marsh on their East Side Neighborhood Connectivity Plan, and recently completed the Lake Calumet Trail Feasibility Study to provide a bicycle and pedestrian corridor connecting the Pullman Neighborhood and the Illinois International Port District to Big Marsh Park. Members of Epstein’s planning group including Tim Gustafson, Neha Soni and Ryan Peterson were in attendance for food, fun, and raffle prizes.
Epstein will release a draft report of infrastructure recommendations in December that will include images and renderings of the proposed improvements.
Friends of Big Marsh is a great organization and we are happy to support their mission to provide high-quality outdoor recreation on the City’s South Side!
