Epstein Ranks Among ENR’s Top 50 Industrial Process Firms

Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine released their annual Top 50 Industrial Process Firms, and we are very pleased to report that Epstein was ranked 44th!

Epstein generated $13.4M in Industrial Process revenue through a multitude of projects including, Optimum Nutrition, Seaboard Triumph Foods, Prestage Foods of Iowa, Vegetable Juices, Inc., Alpina Foods, and Saratoga Food Specialties.

Optimum Nutrition’s program included a 595,000 square foot Powder Process Plant Facility renovation designed to produce approximately 60 million pounds of finished goods at full build-out. Epstein also designed a 9,500 square foot Production Plant Renovation to an existing 138,000 square foot production plant facility.

Another great project is Prestage Foods of Iowa, a 650,000 square foot pork processing plant designed to process approximately 600 million pounds of pork annually. This state-of-the-art processing facility utilizes advanced technology to humanely and efficiently process hogs, and includes the latest advances in stunning, robotic processing, water conservation, energy efficiency and odor control.

Despite entering the third year of the Covid-19 pandemic, sluggish supply chain operations and staffing challenges across the board, revenue numbers across all sectors increased 2.2%.
