Last night, February 12th, Epstein was proud to host the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (I-NOMA) 2020 February general body meeting. This gathering of I-NOMA members and guests featured an AIA accredited presentation by Jason Pugh, AIA, AICP, NOMA, LEED AP (Gensler), on the reconstruction of a brownfield site located in the historic and symbolic neighborhood of Woodlawn Chicago.

In addition, the event included a lively round-table discussion with architects John Gay (JAQ Corp), RaMona Westbrook (Brook Architecture) and Renauld Mitchell (Moody Nolan) on how they have preserved the history and integrity of their communities through design practices and project challenges. What made John and RaMonas participation even more special was each spent parts of their formative years at Epstein before they went on to form their own award-wining practices.
