Seaboard Farms – Triumph Foods December 2016 Construction Progress Update

Shell construction is quickly wrapping up!

Here’s our monthly construction progress update, courtesy of Jeremy Wright, our construction project manager for one of the largest projects we’ve ever undertaken as a Design-Builder – the Seaboard - Triumph Foods Pork Processing Plant in Sioux City, Iowa.

What you see here are few aerials of the 245-acre site as well as interiors showing our construction progress which Jeremy describes thusly,

‘Construction continues on schedule despite mounting winter conditions. Three of our five primary equipment vendors have now mobilized to the site to begin their installation as the shell construction is quickly wrapping up before winter. As slab pours complete in the Distribution and Kill Floor areas our final two equipment vendors will be able to move on site to complete their work. Subterranean work continues at the new waste water treatment plant while two of the four anaerobic lagoon liners have been completed before the cold weather struck.’
