It’s not every day that all you have to do is take the elevator down a few floors to see the handy work of your fellow co-workers in action, but today, December 19th, is such a day, as it is the grand opening of the new Tenant Amenity Space within our Chicago Headquarters office building at 600 West Fulton. For this 5,500 square foot space, Epstein interior architects, MEP engineers and construction professionals converted an existing ground floor storage space into an Amenity Space featuring a bright and modern looking Tenant Lounge & Fitness Center.
For the grand opening, the 600 West Fulton owners/operators & our clients for this project, CBRE, invited all the tenants from this 9-story office building down for a catered & literal, red-carpet, party unveiling the new space. The Fitness Center is outfitted with cardio and strength training equipment catered to the contemporary work out and a yoga/fitness studio for those interested in mixing up their work out routine. In addition, there is also a new Tenant Lounge, equipped with a shuffle board table, a kitchen with healthy vending options, private telephone rooms, an 80” TV and ample seating for any occasion.
To get a better sense of the dramatic change in the space, which was completed in a little over 2 months from the start of construction, take a look here at this collage of before and after.
Special thanks and a job very well done go out to our Design-Build team Joe Barrins, John Kolb, Jeffrey McQuiston, Renata Pajerska, Sheya Finkelstein, Martin Barenbaum, Mindy Chavez, Tamie Williams, Karen Perri & Dan Boland!
Lastly, thanks to our in-house photographer, Monika Ciesielska, for taking a few pictures of the grand opening.
