This Daily's pant will focus on producing sliced-to-order naturally hardwood smoked bacon and employ about 200 people. Daily's, which is owned by Seaboard Foods and Triumph Foods, has chosen to build this plant across the road from Triumph Foods' St. Joseph, Mo., fresh pork processing plant, a 625,000 square foot facility that Epstein designed and built in 2005.

Epsteiners attending the groundbreaking ceremony included Jim Jirsa, our executive managing director/chief financial officer, Tom Kennedy, our director of construction, Tom Smiles, our director of engineering, Stu White, our director of MEP engineering, Darrin McCormies, our director of our industrial process engineering group, Doug Fullick, our project architect for Daily's and Ty Harvey, our design-build manager for the project.
