Next week, hundreds of professionals from the food and beverage industry, including top equipment suppliers, distributors and processors, will gather to connect and learn about driving business growth at the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FSPA) Annual Conference in San Antonio.

Epstein's Darrin McCormies, Director of Industrial Engineering, is attending the event and is also one of two speakers for the MISA panel, happening on the second day of the conference, March 20th. MISA, the Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance, is the non-profit meat industry council of the FPSA that is actively engaged in continuous improvement on behalf of its members.

This Council delivers speakers that can provide attendees with a keen understanding of what is going on in the industry and what suppliers need to know in order to do business with their companies, MISA states.

During the session, The Evolution of Industrial Automation & Robotics, Darrin's presentation will cover:

  • Current best practices and emerging trends
  • How the application of automation can positively impact your operation
  • Case studies and examples
  • The future of industrial automation and robotics

Darrin is particularly well-suited to speak on the use of automation and robotics in the meat industry, having helped design new processing plants for companies such as Seaboard Triumph Foods, Prestage Foods of Iowa and Daily's Premium Meats.

The FPSAs Annual Conference is an important professional development experience which was designed to help today's industry leaders continue to grow their business, Darrin said. The opportunity to network with other leaders across the entire supply chain and learn about the latest industry trends is invaluable.

We hope to see you there!
