Each year, the Chicago Sun-Times invites the areas students to write letters to Santa Claus. And, with Christmas less than a week away, Santas workshop is sure to be bustling with activity.

Epstein, who loves giving back throughout the holiday season, decided to become "seasonal" elves and help the Big Man out!

We were delighted to participate in Letters to Santa and provide gifts for a class at Charles S. Brownell Elementary School, located on Chicagos South Side.

In addition to asking Santa for their hearts desire in toys, such as friendship bracelets, the kids must also tell him something about themselves. Amid the playful drawings, one girl told Santa how she has been helping her parents throughout this past year a surefire way to get your name atop the Nice List.

Some of the Epstein Elves dropped off the presents this past Wednesday, when the students were having a festive Holiday Sock Hop as an incentive for good attendance.

The students will receive their presents Friday morning during a school assembly, take them home, and open them on Christmas.

A special shout out to some of our elves: Madeline Maldonado, Christina Stoczynski and Charlie Luthanen, who was kind enough to be the driver of our sleigh as we were out delivering. Thank you, everyone, for your generosity and participation!
