Last Thursday, September 14th, Epsteins senior project architect, Linda Kanoski, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, became a Goldie Scholar when she received a scholarship from The Goldie Initiative to help pursue her graduate degree. The Goldie Initiative is dedicated to redefining the commercial real estate (CRE) industry by elevating and advancing the careers of women with high potential. Since 2007, The Goldie Initiative has created a professional community of dozens of women with extraordinary academic and leadership potential to become Goldie Scholars.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, which was presented to Linda during the 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration at the Wintrust Grand Banking Hall for The Goldie Initiative, becoming a Goldie Scholar provides Linda with networking opportunities with some of the most powerful and influential role models in the CRE industry as well as an individual CRE mentor to help with professional development.

(2017-2018 Goldie Scholarship Recipients)

If you are curious, the Goldie Scholar is named after Goldie B. Wolfe Miller, a renowned Commercial Real Estate broker and entrepreneur in Chicago, who in 2007 founded The Goldie Initiative to help mentor and develop women in the CRE Industry.
