This past Sunday was the grand opening of the La Perla boutique located 34 East Oak Street in Chicago. For this upscale boutique which features high-fashion lingerie, loungewear, bridal intimates & sleepwear, Epstein served as the architect of record and provided MEP/FP engineering services.
In our role as architect of record, Epstein worked closely with LaPerla and their Italian architect to design a new store prototype for Chicago. Our scope of services involved interpreting the new prototype design to suit the Chicago location. We also secured the necessary building permit by ensuring the design met all local and ADA codes.
Our MEP engineers provided lighting type identification & controls, including air diffusion and sprinkler head placement, as well as power, security system and communications plans and the design of plumbing fixtures and finishes.
In addition, Epstein administered construction period services making certain the clients design intent was achieved.
