For the better part of the last 25 years Epstein has had a continual presence in Mexico. From new food processing plants to produce distribution centers to office building renovations, Epsteins architects, engineers and construction professionals have helped companies from around the world with their Mexico-based facilities. The latest of these projects is a major expansion we completed for Cameron for in Veracruz, an industrial facility that will help Cameron better service its clients in the oil and gas industry.

For this Cameron facility, Epstein provided Design-Build services for a 4,580 square meter (49,299 square foot) manufacturing plant expansion located in the middle of two existing facilities as well as a new 4,446 square meter (47,850 square foot) Distribution Center along with another ancillary building to store hazardous materials. Cameron uses this facility, located within the Industrial Park of Veracruz, to manufacture equipment used in the extraction of oil and gas.

The Distribution Center, which features 4 interior loading docks, has 2 overhead cranes that allow for the loading/unloading of heavy equipment and steel parts. This building also contains other programs such as shipping/receiving offices, waiting areas and restrooms.

Epsteins architects and engineers were faced with numerous design challenges throughout the duration of the project including synchronizing Camerons existing processing operation with the new manufacturing wing, coordinating the engineering/installation of the new overhead cranes which were selected after the completion of substantial design, and working with unique Mexican MEP systems/parameters that were not standard to American industrial specifications.

This facility marks the 12th project we have completed for Cameron which have also included a new manufacturing facility in Ploiesti, Romania, improvements to the office and industrial space in Moore, Oklahoma as well as facility assessments in Salvador, Brazil, among others.
