It's not every day that all you have to do is take the elevator down a few floors to see the handy work of your fellow co-workers in action; today, however; is such a day, as it is the grand opening of the new tenant amenity space within our Chicago headquarters office building at 600 West Fulton. For this 5,500-square-foot space, Epstein interior architects, MEP engineers and construction professionals converted an existing ground floor storage space into an amenity space featuring a bright and modern looking tenant lounge and fitness center.

For the grand opening, the 600 West Fulton owners and operators and our project clients, CBRE, invited all the tenants from the 9-story office building down for a catered and, literal, red-carpet party, unveiling the new space. The fitness center is outfitted with cardio and strength training equipment catered to the contemporary workout and a yoga/fitness studio for those interested in mixing up their workout routine. Additionally, the new tenant lounge is equipped with a shuffle board table, kitchen with healthy vending options, private telephone rooms, an 80-inch TV, and ample seating for any occasion.

To get a better sense of the dramatic change in the space, which was completed in a little over 2 months, check out the collage of before and after.

Special thanks and a job very well done go out to our DesignBuild team! And, also, many thanks to our in-house photographer, Monika Ciesielska, for taking a few pictures of the grand opening.
