We are pleased to welcome Deion DeBose to Epstein the newest member of our civil engineering group. Deion is a recent graduate from the Illinois Institute of Technology (Go Scarlet Hawks!) where he earned his BS in Civil Engineering in May. Deion has strong interests in sustainable design and site development and at Epstein he is currently getting an opportunity to apply those interests on the Illinois Medical District Gateway infrastructure plan, a project in which Deion is serving at the design engineer for this 1.1M sf mixed-use development featuring offices, retail and residential buildings located on Chicago's west side.

Deion is a lifelong south side resident, growing up in Riverdale, Illinois and when not working he enjoys reading science fiction novels and watching action movies. In his spare time Deion also enjoys building computers for people. (Just remember Deion, your building computers one day, the next you're playing 'games' with a Defense Department computer that almost results in the end of the world. Or at least that's what I've learned from watching early 80s Matthew Broderick movies.)

Lastly, while at IIT, Deion joined the Engineers Without Borders Club and was the Tech Team Leader and Director of Projects. This group supports community driven development programs empowering partnerships that design and implement sustainable solutions to a community's basic human needs. As part of Deion's leadership role with the Engineers Without Borders, he lead a team in San Claudio, Nicaragua which helped design and build two latrines. (Very cool Deion!)

Once again, welcome to Epstein Deion, we are very glad to have you as a member of our family. (Which now means you are obligated, as a familial relation, to build everyone at Epstein a computer!)
