We are pleased to welcome (back) Jacob Soerens to Epstein one of the newest member of our MEP/FP engineering group.

Jacob attended LeTourneau University (Go YellowJackets!) in Longview, Texas where he majored in mechanical engineering with a minor in math. He interned with our Mechanical group last summer and now with his B.S. degree in hand, Jacob has joined Epstein as a full-time employee.

Jacob was born in Naperville, Illinois, where he still resides with his parents - but only until he has saved enough to move into his own place. As for hobbies, he builds speakers, home theater speakers being his favorite, and he also installs car audio systems. Jacob thinks of himself as a 'Grease Monkey' and likes to work on his car, a 06 Infiniti G35 coupe, and add things here and there. For instance, he recently put in some new brakes. The car before that was a 1997 Pontiac Firebird. On that car, he took the engine down to the block and rebuilt it. And here's a photo of the finished product¦

When not solving mechanical engineering design issues at Epstein or embracing his 'Grease Monkey' persona, Jacob's other favorite activities include playing golf and he would also like to join a slow-pitch softball league. He likes to relax by listening to music (which kind of goes hand-in-hand with speaker building), and he's also a drummer at heart, so you will always find him tapping his fingers or feet when thinking.

Once again, Jacob welcome back to the Epstein family, and be prepared for some of your extended family members to hit you up for a little pro-bono car repair!
