In early December, Dragos Milotin, one of our architects in our Bucharest, Romania office, was certified as a Green Building Professional (GBP) by the Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC). The RoGBC is similar to the USGBC and is Romanian's leading organization promoting environmental responsibility and energy efficiency in the design, construction, operation, and deconstruction of Romania's buildings.

To achieve the GBP certification Dragos completed 10 courses which included both theory and practice from experts active domestically and internationally. The GBP program is designed specifically to ensure cross-training between different disciplines as more efficient collaboration is a critical factor in delivering successful green building projects.
