Epstein at BDNY 2018

The leading trade fair for the hospitality and design industry

Boutique Design New York (BDNY), presented by Boutique Design magazine, is the leading trade fair for the hospitality and leisure design industry, held in New York City on an annual basis. Ranked as the fastest-growing trade fair in the United States, BDNY brings together leaders from all sectors of the hospitality design community to explore what’s new and what’s next.

Now in its ninth year, BDNY 2018 will take place on November 11-12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, which was recently renovated and is currently undergoing an expansion. Epstein provided convention center design expertise and project management as part of a design team joint-venture for this project.

This will be Epstein’s third consecutive year at BDNY. David Scott, AIA, Director of Hospitality, and Steve Marx, Director of Client Services, will both be in attendance.

“We’re looking forward to networking with hospitality design professionals, owners and developers, keeping abreast of the latest design trends,” Steve said. “Epstein was recently named by BD+C as one of the nation’s top hotel sector firms; participating in these events allow us to stay at the forefront of the hospitality industry.”

BDNY’s extensive conference programming puts attendees in touch with the visionaries who are reshaping the future of the industry. David and Steve will be attending many of these conferences, including “Tower of Power: Look Inside the World’s Tallest Modular Hotel.” The in-depth panel discussion will focus on the construction techniques and design behind the AC Hotel by Marriott NoMad. Epstein is proud of our work on this exciting project; to learn more about our role and the modular design process, please contact David.

“Our team represents the bridge between brand and client, offering start-to-finish guidance and personalized attention throughout the entire design process,” David said. “We have the expertise and agility to provide savvy, cost-effective design solutions tailored to meet the needs of your project.”

Networking is on the menu at a variety of special events at BDNY. Should you be attending, and want to meet to brainstorm opportunities in the hospitality space, David and Steve would be delighted to connect.
