Epstein is proud to be one of the architecture firms featured in The Chicago Athenaeum’s New Chicago Architecture Exhibition taking place at 332 South Michigan Avenue from November 12th through the 17th. This show is being curated by The Chicago Athenaeum’s Museum of Architecture and Design and features ‘new buildings and urban planning projects from the world’s first city of architecture.’
The Athenaeum’s survey of Chicago architecture provides insight and direction into the City’s design and highlights the Chicago’s architect’s ‘ambitions, challenges, and possibilities.’ The buildings and plans featured in this exhibition come from submissions from nearly 100 Chicago architects and firms.
Epstein will have six of our recently completed projects in this exhibition including the Serta International Center, Wilmette Public Works Facility Expansion, G&W Electric Headquarters, O’Hare Terminal 5 Concessions Program, the HQ for the American Society of Clinical Pathology and Ignite Glass Studios. For the show we we're asked to composed presentation boards highlighting our designs for these facilities. Here are the thumbnails of those exhibits.
Lastly, exhibition hours are 10-5 p.m. and there is also a reception on the 12th from 6-8 p.m. For more information visit the Athenaeum’s website at www.chi-athenaeum.org.
