LEED Consulting As a company, Epstein has incorporated sustainable design principles in numerous facilities throughout our history and look forward to our role as your partner and the potential for attaining LEED certification for your project. Prior to earning a LEED rating, Epstein employs a three phase approach to analyzing and implementing sustainable operations practices. The first step is a feasibility analysis, during which owner goals are established to provide a direction for the sustainability of the project. The second step involves assisting the design professionals incorporating these goals into the design documents. Epstein provides guidance to the owner and design team on achieving specific points as well as addressing sustainability concepts not covered under LEED. In the third and final step, Epstein regularly follows up with the construction team assisting their efforts in completing the design’s sustainability requirements as well as achieving points that are specifically resident in the construction scope (i.e. construction waste management for diverting waste from landfill). Throughout the process Epstein serves as an on-call expert providing guidance on achieving sustainable practices through cost-effective solutions.
