This past Wednesday, May 24th, Epstein and Melissa Gibson, NCARB, CSI, CCCA, LEED AP BD+C, our associate vice president and specifier, were recognized for contributions to the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute at their annual Awards Banquet and Recognition Night. In an event celebrating 64 years as a chapter and held at the historic Cliff Dwellers Club, located in the penthouse of the Epstein-designed Borg Warner office building, CSI Chicago honored Melissa with a Technical Award for spearheading the activities of the specifier roundtable, presenting on numerous occasions, and for being an outstanding presenter and resource at our chapter program on delegated design. In addition, Melissa was also sworn in as the Chicago Chapters new president and is set to officially take office on July 1st. Lastly, Epstein was presented with CSI Chicago Chapters Corporate Spacemaker Award for the second year running for our continued service and support of CSI Chicago in hosting multiple educational roundtables.
