South Korea Embassy Warsaw, Poland
Epstein provided architectural and engineering design services for the new Embassy of the Republic of South Korea. This three-story building faces south towards Szwolezerow Street and the façade is constructed of stone and glazed aluminum curtain wall. The building includes a late modernist styled edifice composed of several rectangular prisms combined together, with a "megawindow" on the façade center line.
Symbolic Korean traits are noticeably present in the design through the proportions of the facility, the slightly flashed up cornices and the eaves, incorporating clear allusions to the Far East style of architecture. The building also includes an underground parking garage.
