Scott Air Force Base CDC
Scott Air Force Base, Illinois Epstein is providing architectural and interior design, as well as civil and structural engineering services for the new Scott Air Force Base Child Development Center (CDC) which will consist of approximately 23,594 total square feet of space in a one-story building. This new building will include administrative areas, laundry and kitchen, common areas including a breakroom, mechanical and electrical areas, and other spaces including a playground with four outdoor learning centers (Infant, Pre-Toddler, Toddler and Pre-School). The CDC will include new pavement and parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and utilities, including gas, sewer, water, and underground electrical and communication services. The project will also include demolition of the existing CDC. Scott Air Force Base serves as the headquarters of the 375th Air Mobility Command of the United States Air Force. The Base is located approximately 20 miles east of St. Louis Missouri, near Belleville, IL.
