Epstein is providing architectural and engineering services for the development of this 230,500 square foot, Class A office development that will be the headquarters of CUPROM, one of the Europe’s largest copper producing companies.
Situated on the north site of the city close to two major airports, Henri Coanda and Otopeni, the building is 19-stories and provides 150,000 square feet of leasable office space. The building also features a 250-seat auditorium, a cafeteria and a high-end restaurant on top floor. A modern 3-level parking garage is also provided.
The building also features some unique sustainable design elements due to its unique location next to a 9,100 foot deep thermal borehole. The development of an environmentally friendly solution which would utilize this energy source for heating of the building area is being considered.
