In addition to our commercial and industrial marketplace experience Epstein has also developed a reputation for delivering large public projects on-time and on-budget. These projects include airport terminals and runways, highways and toll plazas, exhibition and convention centers, schools and educational facilities, museums and libraries, clinics and healthcare facilities, as well as government buildings. Some of our recent institutional facilities include the first new runway (9L-27R) in 40 years at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, a Civic Center for the City of Calabasas, California and an Embassy for the Republic of South Korea in Warsaw, Poland. We also take great pride in that a many of these projects have sustainable design features or pursued LEED certification. One of our largest “green” projects was the recently completed $850 M west expansion to McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. This facility was, when certified, the largest LEED-NC project of its kind in the world.
