Epstein worked closely with Nonni's to achieve an accelerated 5-month schedule from the start of design to the start up of the first line. Epstein provided site selection and full design and construction management services for the conversion of a 380,000 square foot textile manufacturing plant to accommodate an FDA inspected 5-line bakery.
From project inception, Epstein's services included:• Site selection comparison of acquisition and operating costs followed by identification of viable facility alternatives over a four state search area • Facility acquisition support • Identification of available incentive programs • Facility due diligence prior to formal closing • Building, site and process systems layout including: - Process line layout and coordination - Utility systems design: steam, hot water, compressed air, chilled water, and HVAC - Flour storage and pneumatic delivery system • Construction management services including: - Contractor prequalification - Bid and award of all trade work - Scheduling and oversight of all construction activities - Coordination of start-up and training |
