The British School of Chicago Expansion Chicago, Illinois
Epstein provided MEP engineering and interior design services for a 9,500 square foot expansion to the British School of Chicago. This project included the renovation of two existing classrooms and the build-out of an existing space to accommodate five high-tech classrooms for Early Childhood Learning, a Music Room, a Library, an Indoor Play Area and children's ADA compliant restrooms.
Budget conscience finishes include the use of energetic brightly colored primary color schemes on floors and walls. Each classroom utilizes smart board technology and is sized for 20+ students. The double height indoor play room houses indoor play equipment, has a mirrored wall and an adjustable ballet barre.
