Marlborough School
Los Angeles, California Marlborough is the oldest independent girls’ school in Southern California, situated on a four-acre campus in Hancock Park, one of Los Angeles’ most beautiful residential areas. The School’s academic program is at the forefront of education and the campus learning centers and facilities reflect Marlborough’s prestige as one of the finest college-preparatory schools for girls. The scope of work for this project consisted of the following: Demolition of an administrative building and construction of a new 37,000 sf Visual Arts Center with 1st floor administrative offices, state-of-the-art visual arts center, and 2nd floor academic research center (library) and technology labs. Space planning and remodel of 9,000 sf in Mudd and Mitchell Halls, both administrative buildings on the campus. Mudd Hall has classrooms and offices; Mitchell Hall houses Head of School and other administrative staff.
